 In 2003 a young pony named "Happy" came to live with the Laymon family. At the time, we owned a number of Quarter Horses and Appaloosas. Happy had his own unique personality, one we came to treasure. Because Happy was purchased as a grade pony, we do not know much about his background. We were told he was part Haflinger, a term we had not heard before. After researching the Haflinger breed and discovering their many fine qualities, we were convinced that this was the breed for us. The picture on our home page was our first time pulling a democrat buggy with our newly purchased mare "Netta," We call it "The First Outing." The Laymons |
